The Princeton African Students Association is a non-exclusive society, open to people of all nationalities who are interested in the culture and affairs of Africa and its diaspora. Its objectives are to foster cultural and social ties with all peoples of African descent in and around the Princeton university community, to provide a forum for the discussion of issues and ideas pertaining to Africa and the African diaspora and to foster initiatives linking students to various organizations in Africa: public, private and academic with an eye for creating research, internship and fellowship opportunities.

Aikido Club

An effective form of self-defense, Kokikai Aikido relies on a strong mind and correct technique not physical strength alone. As a result classes include both men and women practicing on equal footing. Designed to defend against multiple attackers, it offers many solutions to aggressive behavior by others. The Princeton University Aikido Club allows students to explore Japanese culture, philosophy, and martial arts through the practice of Kokikai Aikido and provides the opportunity earn ranks from Kokikai Aikido International.

Band, Princeton University

The Princeton Band does everything it can to make Princeton sporting events a little bit louder. We perform at all football games, home and away. At every game, we perform original and humorous shows at pregame and halftime. A student announcer reads the script over the intercom, and the Band scrambles into formations and plays songs to accompany the joke. (You can read our past scripts online.) During the football game itself, we sit in the stands and perform our unique repertoire, consisting of both Princeton marches and popular songs from the last 50 years.
